Preventive Care:

Most insurances cover these important services at no additional cost to you. These are very important steps in keeping your mouth as healthy as possible.

Dental Cleanings and Exam:

Dr. Kolean recommends that each of our new and existing patients come in once every six months for a regular teeth cleaning. This is a vital preventative step and can literally save your future oral health. During your visit, Dr. Kolean will come in for a dental exam and check your teeth for cavities and check your gums for periodontal disease.

Dental X-rays:

Dental x-rays can detect even the slightest traces of oral health problems at their earliest stages, such as cavities, gum disease, oral infections, and some types of tumors. At Dr. Koleans office we will only take x-rays that are necessary for your dental health.

Sealants:

 A dental sealant is a thin plastic coating (clear or white) that’s bonded into the pits and grooves of a tooth. Sealants help to protect teeth from the formation of tooth decay.
